I finally managed to log into Xitter to evacuate the long-dormant #LondonPM @lpmsoc account from the nazi bar.

It only took a temporary Chromium profile, accepting all cookies, a TOTP code and solving 5 tricky captchas twice (because I failed one of them the first time around)!

Say hello to the official (because the pub tsar says so) #London #PerlMongers Fediverse account: @londonpm! 🎉 🐪 🧅 🍻

#perl

I saw this post about using systemd to find out when Christmas next falls on a given weekday, and it made me realise it can also be used to determine when the next @londonpm heretical social is:

❯ systemd-analyze calendar 'thu *-*-1'
Original form: thu *-*-1
Normalized form: Thu *-*-01 00:00:00
Next elapse: Thu 2025-05-01 00:00:00 BST
(in UTC): Wed 2025-04-30 23:00:00 UTC
From now: 5 months 8 days left

Add --iterations=N to see the next N heresies.
