Nampa Golf Commission awards $12,000 in scholarships to local students

Nampa, ID (CBS2) — The Nampa Golf Commission has awarded $12,000 in scholarships to six college-bound students, thanks to the support of several local sponsors, 17-hole sponsors, and 32 teams that participated in the 23rd Annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament. The event, which raises funds for summer youth golf programs in Nampa, the Mayor’s Teen Council, and scholarships for high school senior golf students, saw the following seniors each receive a $2,000 scholarship: Tanner Compton from Nampa Christian, Jenna Douberly from Nampa High School, Samuel Glaza from Victory Charter, Ryan Gonzales from Nampa Christian, Maui Pratt from Skyview High School, and
