The once top-secret abandoned bomb facility hidden in an old slate mine. Llanberis Bomb Store, Wales.

In January 1942, the roof collapsed burying 14,000 tonnes of bombs (14% of Britain's stock). It took until the 1970s to fully clear the site of bombs and make it safe.

Today, the Bomb Store is little more than an overgrown concrete skeleton. Occasionally it is possible to venture inside!
