Those moments you order a safe food from Subway, only to find out the hard way they gave you a sandwich that literally is what you're allergic to! I just wanted my simple veggie wrap, instead they gave me flat bread without telling me! So when I touched the sandwich my hands broke out in hives instantly. Only to look up the ingredients and the first ingredient is what I'm deathly allergic to. Thank goodness I didn't take a bite or I'd be in the ER with my throat closing and needing a steroid taper to get back to normal. Carelessness really harms people. With this instance I feel I should really get Birger scent trained to detect if whole wheat is in foods so I can avoid these disasters better. Next time it could be anaphylaxis if I put it in my body. This is why I prefer home cooking so I know I'm not in danger.
