New Year, new goals!
My #KoFi Goal this year is a writing retreat. Ideally, 4, one per quarter, but let's start with one, shall we?
These days let me focus on writing entirely for a single day, no distractions, no interruptions. As #LiveWritingDay showed, even WITH interruptions and distractions, I can write a lot when I dedicate my whole day to writing!

After Sunday's Live-Writing Day, I still have a large chunk of this novella to write! I'd like to do a series of shorter streams - 1 or two hours - over January (And possibly the end of December) to get it finished up. (Okay, at a rate of something like 1000 words an hour, it's going to take 24 mā¦
LIveWriting Day 2020 ā a Summary
#LiveWriting Day 2020 is in the bag! And like everything in 2020, it was a little trickier than expected, with some unanticipated glitches, and some slog points.
But like every #LiveWritingDay I've done, it was also a lot of fun, a success, and a very good (if long) day.

As for the story and the outline...
Um. Well, when I modified the beat sheet wordcount to 16000 rather than 10,000... I'd say I'm at the point that's supposed to be at about 8000.
So this is going to be perhaps, a 24000 word novella!
One hour left of my #LiveWritingDay (and possibly a bit more to get me to 12,000 words...)
That's still plenty of time to check it out!

okay, let's see, I've written from 8-4:30
8. 5 hours
less one for nap, less .5 for firewood.
7 hours
now, another nap. Then an hour for dinner around 6.
So, let's see. 5-6, 7-10, 4 hours left, 5 if I go to 11 .
at my current average of 1077 words/hour, I will reach 12000 sometime between 10 and 11. Yay!
