Minister Linda Burney has announced that in March the Federal government will introduce legislation for the First Nations Voice to Parliament referendum, which will be held on a date between August and November. The official Yes campaign is likely to launch late in February.

Burney is hopeful that the Federal Liberal Party will support the Voice, and disappointed that the National Party does not. She said many arguments against it are "a little ill-informed".
