Some open source projects are very welcoming, some not so. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to try to contribute only to be 'greeted' with deafening silence. They should *always* value contributors as that is the future for these projects.
I just found myself asking this: "What is needed to get this thing moving? Or is 'the silence' the way of saying no thank you?"
I think I know the answer... now asking myself "why did I even bother in the first place".

This is what drives me to contribute. this is what (imo) makes open source communities thrive.
How do you contribute to opensource projects you use?
Just released 22 (!) new major versions for my extensions as Release Candidate. All technical debt removed so we are good to run on #Joomla 6 and (minimum) Joomla 5.3. Sending out newsletter tomorrow.
What a trip....
Biggest conclusion in making these extensions Joomla 6 ready is that I have to many extensions #lol
Still one very big extension to go... will take me again a couple of days work, but hé... the Joomla show must go on :)

Some small code improvements / new ideas for existing extensions planned here, nothing with priority so taking it easy today :)
So yesterday my eye caught a blog posted here on Mastodon that had an added link to the authors profile here on the fediverse. Cool!
Will be adding fediverse metatags to my #joomla ochOpenGraph plugin so we can also have full support for this in Joomla.
Is there an overview of metatags specifically for the fediverse, or is there (currently) just one (fediverse:creator)?
