I give the BBC's adaptation of Kate Atkinson's "Life After Life", one of my favourite books, a grudging B minus, it was fine, I guess, though I wanted to shout "show, don't tell" a lot.

Read the book, it's excellent, much deeper, richer and stranger. And the audiobook is literally the best I've ever listened to.
Fenella Woolgar (Call The Midwife) is amazing, not just a reader but a performer.
