China has launched its first open-source embodied intelligence dataset community, led by Leju Robotics with partners including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tongji University, and Unitree Robotics. The initiative addresses a critical shortage of high-quality real-world data for robot development. At launch, Leju introduced the OpenLET dataset, the first to combine tactile dexterous manipulation with full-body dynamic motion, integrating fingertip pressure matrix sensing and six-axis force feedback.
