A permanent building was built to accommodate news media that wanted to cover launches from #KSC. A few large networks were allowed to set up their own trailers and small sets around it. When Apollo 4, the first Saturn V launch, was being covered, the sound was enough to make Walter Cronkite openly exclaim, “The roar is terrific! Our building is shaking! . . . We’re holding it with our hands!”
