Laughing Monk's Redwood Ale is a classic American Amber, maltier than most in both the nose and taste, very little bitterness, on the sweet side, with a hint of pine from the Citra and Palisades hops. Very smooth all the way through to the finish. A good contender against my category favorite, Boont Amber, which is noticeably more hoppy. I'm anxious to try this one on tap.
