My favourite stage of "Last Sequence", the most recent title track from WJSN.

It's a good song and they all look so beautiful in black here.

I strongly disagree with those who deplore the state of Kpop today, but that disagreement does not stop me missing WJSN and some other groups I love who have either disbanded or fallen into inactivity.

I'm not going to enter this for #KpopMonday #WaterFight ; although the MV does have an oceanic concept, it's vague and there is certainly no fighting in it. This stage preserves the vestige of that oceanic concept by means of the sea shell displayed on the backdrop.

So why am I posting this stage of "Last Sequence" ? Well, I like - or perhaps I should say liked - WJSN a lot and wanted to post something by them!

I thought of posting "Boogie Up", as it contains some water pistol play, but then I decided that the sequence was both toobrief and too much like that in APRIL -- Now or Never, which I had already posted. Then I thought of "Last Sequence", but the connection with this week's theme is too tenuous.

Nevertheless, it's a track I really like, with its vocals driving the dance pop sound forward. These outfits were my favourites from the comeback; at times, the WJSN stylist would give the group the best outfits in Kpop, although this comeback, strangely enough, did see one stage with the unlovely ripped jeans.

Sadly, I don't think there will ever be another group comeback to follow "Last Sequence", as some members have not renewed their contracts, and others now, quite understandably, seem devoted to following up on individual showbiz opportunities. I suspect too that Starship is now too focused on IVE and KiiiKiii to bother with WJSN.

What a shame! They are so talented and so beautiful! I do wish that Starship had not given up on them. "Last Sequence" indeed!
