#CommunityCollege Symposium at Stanford today. Students applied from the entire state of CA.

A lot of great research was presented, including one student who should definitely file for a patent. I'm very proud of my advisee, the students from #LasPositasCollege, and all of the students doing quality research at Community and Junior colleges.

Some of my favorites talks:
* informatics on native bees
* logistical analysis of high speed rail in Vietnam
* cheap and effective methods of detecting UTIs in people with alzheimers/dementia

I'm pretty sure they're crows, not ravens, but I swear these guys were bigger than the ravens I saw at the tower of London a few years back. I would NOT want to upset them.

Four of them were on the roof of the #LasPositasCollege science building cawing loudly about something around lunchtime today.
