The former bell tower in Oldenburg/Oldb. (Lower Saxony) called ‘Lappan’ - a landmark of the city - dates back to 1467/68; it was added to the stone Heilig-Geist-Kirche (Church of the Holy Spirit), which had existed since 1394.
