I had never noticed this photo at Kopernik before...but apparently Jim Lovell was at the opening event of Kopernik Observatory in 1974. That is so cool. I was 4 years old at the time. LOL! #KopernikAstroFest #astronomy #astrophotography #stem

While #KopernikAstroFest was really Kopernik "Rainfest" on the first night, I still had a great time tinkering with the observatory hardware. A 20" OGS Astrograph, a C14 Edge setup, a 6" Astrophysics F/12 Planetary Killer and a plethora of yard scopes/dobs.
