On June 21, K'ómoks First Nation will be presenting National Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds from 2 pm until 9 pm.
Since I moved to the traditional territory of the K'ómoks First Nation in 2014, I have never missed this annual event, I have learnt a lot about the culture and history and to be honest I also go for the delicious traditional food.
