Work is throwing a 2 day hackathon and I’m determined to use it to figure out why my #kitchenlithography efforts aren’t working. I got a table setup and all my supplies, and if it don’t work again, I got backup #reliefprintmaking and #drypointetching supplies at the ready.

Frustrating 2nd night of failing at #kitchenlithography Went with a new plate of sample marks, which .. looked like it etched? But apparently didn’t because it was impossible to roll up. I tried to keep the ink light on the roller but it scummed every time I rolled, so at this point I’m blaming the cola etch. I did about 1.5 mins and tried with / without protecting (mimic the talc/gum). I think the foil and coke reaction just doesn’t set. Because the roll up ink is sticky as hell, even with reduced tackiness
