With the 20th anniversary of the Peter Jackson King Kong movie, i felt like drawing Ann Darrow as played by Naomi Watts.

I drew two versions, with the robe she wears during most of the film and the other without as she appears when she escapes the island

After a three year hiatus and 20 minutes in, I picked up with watching King Kong (2005) last night. I had forgotten it was over three hours long. After another inteminible fight scenes I checked how much was left. 57 minutes. !!! I am now convinced that video games ruined post-2000 SciFi/monster films. Fight scenes are incredibly boring to me and now movies have 30-45 minutes of them most of the time. But Kong felt like it had an hour+ of them. 3/10 stars. #kingkong2005 #21stcentury #videogames
