After finishing this Episode, I thought that whatever happens in the remaining episodes will not save the series.
So far there was absolutely no buildup for viewers to make theories about Darkiine, and the title of the next episode sounds like they will now drop the full story.
Someone on a forum mentioned that the last 4 episodes were wrapping up character arcs and my only thought was - what arcs? The characters didn’t have arcs. They had one or two personality traits each and just kept it for the whole series.

With episode 22 Princession has really come into its own and become far better than Kimi to Aidoru Precure could ever hope to be. In every respect that matters, Princession is superior.

As far as I'm concerned, Princession IS the Precure show for this year.

I can't get more than a few minutes into episode 31, after it sank to a new low in 30. Dropping Kimi to Aidoru Precure. First Precure I've dropped since my first failed attempt at getting into the franchise. And it's all Meroron's fault. Well, not all, but mostly.

Sorry, Nana. No, she fucking isn't. She spent 18 episodes being a toxic bitch and actively trying to shit on everyone and everything not named Purirun. She even shat on your desire to help Zakkuri. So don't tell me Meroron is kind in the slightest. But hey, it ain't the first time Precure has tried to redeem a poorly-written trash character. The one nice thing I can say about Meroron is she didn't commit genocide like a certain one-eyed shit.

Speaking of which, Kimi to Idol is shaping up to be the worst season since Star Twinkle. At least that one did a few genuinely interesting things, such as most anything involving Lala and Elena and Tenjou's focus episode in the latter half. Most of the rest was shit though.

Meroron SUCKS. "So cute when she's all fired up" No, Cure Nothingburger, she is not. She is a complete and total jerkwad. Remember when she tried to dissuade you from helping Zakkuri? That was just a couple of weeks ago!

Meroron, just because YOU are incapable of character growth, doesn't mean you get to trample on others who are trying to better themselves. Leave Nana alone, and let her have her moment, god forbid Cure Nothingburger--or anyone not named Kokoro--gets to have an interesting moment. You already showed your colors a week or two prior, when you had a chance to show genuine growth....and turned your disgusting nose up at it.

Worst mascot since Fuwa.
