I was wondering how small they were printing books now, lol. (apparently, kids aren't choking on the book itself, but there are bits-of-glitter they can choke on that fall off the cover).

Due to a manufacturing fault, the glitter varnish finish on the book cover can be peeled off. Small flakes of glitter varnish could be a choking hazard to small children. As of February 26, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
