Due prigionieri, Kiomars Vaezi, insegnante detenuto, e Mehdi Bagheri, originario di Sonqor, hanno iniziato uno sciopero della fame il 7 marzo nel carcere di Dizel-Abad, a Kermanshah. Protestano contro le presunte interferenze e pressioni delle forze di sicurezza nel procedimento giudiziario relativo al loro caso.

L’insegnante in pensione e attivista sindacale Keyomars Vaezi è stato condannato a 5 anni di carcere dal Tribunale rivoluzionario di Songhor (Kermanshah) con accuse di “propaganda” e “collusione contro la sicurezza nazionale”.
Il Consiglio delle associazioni sindacali degli insegnanti iraniani ha condannato la sentenza e chiesto la liberazione degli insegnanti detenuti per il loro attivismo.
