Hey friends! For today I'll be seeding a DVD rip of "Sesame Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street", a 2021 documentary of how Sesame Street was created and how the actors all came together with the Muppets. It's a lovely look into a show that helped shaped me into the person I am today!
Grab the seed with stigmerge!

Be sure to #KeepCirculatingTheTapes, Choomes! Keep information, kindness, and compassion going!
With this, I have a large favor to ask of friends, datarunners, archivists, and hackers alike.
Find any and all of the PBS shows you can. Download them all. Save EVERYTHING.
Sneakernet them to everyone you can. Tell them to #KeepCirculatingTheTapes.
Don't let this legacy die with a whimper. Spread. Share. Teach.
Fight fucking back.
EDIT: Done seeding for now! Hope everyone enjoyed this one; more shares coming soon!
Gonna keep this one on overnight and seeding for my Chooms! Enjoy!

The one "problem" I have with Internet Archive is I tend to fall into some wild rabbit holes.
Like finding out today, 42 years after it was created and about 32 years after its only VHS release, and while I was browsing their VHS Vault collection, that there was a Coneheads cartoon made in 1983! It only had a pilot episode and did star the cast from the skits, but this is such a crazy obscure thing to find!
"Keep Circulating The Tapes" is a mantra.
Save it so we can see it.
Hey Chooms! Remember when Terminal City Ricochet was found, ripped, and archived on the Internet Archive as a hackers.town collaberative effort? Well, the Internet Archive now also includes all the special features and the soundtrack in glorious FLAC format!
Big thanks to everyone who worked to get this extremely rare movie preserved!
From IMDB:Welcome to Terminal City, a decaying world where the citizens wallow amidst a mind-boggling profusion of discarded consumer goods; a ruthless world...
It's up!! It's up!!
First off, BIG shout-out to everyone who got involved! The very rare and hard to find movie adaptation of William Gibson's "New Rose Hotel" is on the Internet Archive for all to enjoy!!
For everyone who's got this movie seeding on torrents or available on Usenet... keep those flows going; you're doing a great service! Don't let movies fall into obscurity again like this!
I'm so grateful for the community coming together to help find this movie! This is for all of you to enjoy!
Have fun, Chooms, and #KeepCirculatingTheTapes! 📼
Based on William Gibson's 1984 short story of the same name and published in OMNI and his 1986 short story collection, Burning Chrome. Two businessmen, Fox...
Ahoy, all you Datarunners and pirates! It's time to put out another call for another very impossible to get movie!
New Rose Hotel is a 1998 adaptation of William Gibson's 1984 short story of the same name, as featured in his 1986 short story collection, "Burning Chrome". The film features Christopher Walken, Willem Dafoe, Asia Argento, and a surprise appearance by Final Fantasy artist and character Yoshitaka Amano.
The film made surprisingly little money (only approx. $21,151 altogether!), had very little distribution, and did get a DVD release in Europe, but of course the DVD is damn near impossible to find, and any torrents are bad rips that don't seed properly.
I wanna find a copy of this movie on DVD so I can rip it and of course put a copy on the Internet Archive. Yeah, it's probably not a great movie, but it's still a cool cyberpunk film to check out!
Let's preserve another near lost film, Chooms!
(Shout out to fellow townie @benbrown for bringing this to my attention!)
This is why I love my local library and why I always advocate them: borrowing and being able to get my hands on four hard to get movies starring the greatest modern folk hero, EL SANTO!!
They'll be shared soon enough!
