Camellia Tea Ceremony⚱️THE CAT AND THE KILN🎨
The old Gojōzaka home of famed ceramic artist Kawai Kanjirō (河井寬次郎 1890-1966) was restored in 1973 as a museum (河井寛次郎記念館).
Kanjirō designed this property (part living space, part studio, part climbing kiln) in 1937.
One regular visitor to the museum is Eki-chan (えきちゃん), a tortoiseshell cat that spends her days amongst the precious antiques.
