Philosophy teachers, how do you explain to your students the logic behind the different formulations of Kant's categorical imperative?
Usually I focus on the first and the second formulations : the universalizability principle and the inherent dignity of every person.
How do you explain why there are different formulations? What logical structure do you use to go beyond simple enumeration?
