New: Federal prosecutors will not file criminal charges in the death of Shanquella Robinson, who was killed nearly six months ago in Cabo.

They said they don’t have enough evidence available to prosecute anyone

Questions about the Charlotte native’s death emerged soon after and only intensified after a video surfaced showing Robinson, visibly drunk, involved in a fight where she was violently beaten.

25 year old #ShanquellaRobinson was found dead during a trip to Cabo. Her associates claim she died of alcohol poisoning but the death certificate from the Mexican government contradicts this statement as it reveals a broken neck and cracked spine and a time of death which is 15 minutes after she sustained these injuries.

@statedept released a premature statement claiming “no clear evidence of foul play”, meanwhile there is a video circulating of a woman violently attacking Shanquella. We demand they retract their statement and use all resources available to coordinate with @usembassymex, the FBI and the Mexican government to conduct a full and thorough investigation. 25-year-old Shanquella Robinson was found dead a day after flying out on vacation to Cabo with her friends. What occurred at a Cabo villa is a mystery due to conflicting claims. After an ongoing investigation, friends are found to have lied about the cause of death. Autopsy shows she had no alcohol poisoning but a broken spinal cord and cracked neck.
