On 13 December, the time will have come. We will take to the streets for Nelson.
However, there is still a lot of misinformation and gaps in knowledge about Nelson's murder. We want to change that with an information desk.
There will also be an information stand with various flyers from groups dealing with the issue of racist police violence, such as @kop_berlin
After the input, there will also be a vegan kitchen and an open bar evening for socialising.

Am 13.12 ist es soweit. Wir gehen für Nelson auf die Straße.
Jedoch existieren immer noch falschen Informationen und große Wissenslücken über den Mord an Nelson. Dies wollen wir bei einem Info Tresen ändern.
Dazu wird es noch einen Infostand mit verschiedenen Flyern von sich mit dem Thema rasstischer Polizeigewalt auseinandersetzender Gruppen wie der @kop_berlin geben.
Nach dem Input gibt es zusätzlich noch eine vegane Küfa und ein offenen Barabend zum socializing.

Nelson was 15 years old. Black. And he should still be alive.
Imagine: a boy from Saarbrücken who just played football and loved Afrobeats. Who walked through an open door and was suddenly accused of burglary.
A judge who wanted to go on holiday and therefore sent Nelson to remand prison for a week. But after two days, Nelson was already dead.
And what happened next reveals the whole system: the prison claimed it was ‘suicide’. His fellow prisoners knew that the guards had abused Nelson.
His father could not recognise his own son, his face was completely disfigured.
His fellow prisoners protested and the SWAT team arrived. Without their courage, Nelson's story would never have come to light.
Nevertheless, the body was quickly cremated without the family's consent. Coincidence? Hardly.

Nelson war 15 Jahre alt. Schwarz. Und er hätte noch leben sollen.
Stell dir vor: Ein Junge aus Saarbrücken, der eigentlich nur Fußball spielte und Afrobeats liebte. Der durch eine offene Tür ging und plötzlich als Einbrecher beschuldigt wurde.
Ein Richter, der in den Urlaub wollte, und deshalb Nelson für eine Woche in U-Haft schickte. Nach zwei Tagen war Nelson aber schon tot.
Und was dann passiert ist, zeigt das ganze System: Die JVA behauptete "Selbstmord". Seine Mitgefangenen wussten, dass die Wärter Nelson misshandelt hatten.
Der Vater konnte seinen eigenen Sohn nicht wiedererkennen, das Gesicht war völlig entstellt.
Die Mitgefangenen haben protestiert und das SEK rückte an. Ohne ihren Mut wäre Nelsons Story nicht ans Licht gekommen.
