Die beste *neue* Serie 2026 war aber ganz klar Ikoku Nikki (Journal with Witch). Jedenfalls für erwachsene Zuschauer. (Und immer noch keine Ankündigung für eine deutschsprachige Übersetzung des #Manga ... *jammer*)

Sometimes it feels like subtle, thoughtful #anime get overlooked and lost among the long running series and flash in the pan seasonal shows.

Not this time!

Journal With Witch looks like it held strong. I thought it got a bit less focused as it went on, but its quality was unquestionable. Glad to see something so real yet off beat get some actual viewer recognition!
