Joomla Academy Spring 2025

The Joomla Academy is an exciting new initiative from Joomla, supported by the not-for-profit organisation that supports the Joomla project, Open Source Matters (OSM). The Joomla Academy is a global program that aims to bring new contributors and new and improved features to Joomla by providing mentored coaching and teaching for students with PHP, JavaScript, UX and UI skills. The Joomla Academy team is a group of volunteers, each with specific roles, working together to develop new features to enhance Joomla. Each project undertaken for Joomla is supported by mentors who guide and assist students in achieving their objectives. If you are interested in participating in the Joomla Academy Spring 2025 program (#JASpring25), please complete the form below. The two teams you can choose between are based on the following projects: Enhanced SEO (on GitHub) and Advanced Migration Tool (on GitHub) Please fill out the form to start the application process and get a chance to join JASpring25. If the student fulfils the project brief to the required level, a stipend of up to $3000 will be available upon completion.
