having just finished the first book of the hardboiled vampire noir #JoePittcasebooks by #CharlieHuston, I eagerly went online to purchase the next in the series but instead got #SeaofTranquility, #EmilyStJohnMandel's latest, which is very much not hardboiled and is completely devoid of vampires and/or noir. #books #adhd
