I’m a sucker for getting meaning from songs but this line from Jets to Brazil 20 odd years ago still hits hard.
It amazing how much self worth, for me, comes from employment.

Being that I was a lifelong obsessive Jawbreaker fan, my gravitation towards Jets To Brazil through osmosis felt very natural. However, the only Jets album I’m super passionate about is THIS one; the first.
I have such a storied history with this album, that I hold it in the same high regard as Jawbreaker’s Dear You.
