Filled the 'Starts With J' tile on my #BookBingo card with 'Japanese Gothic' by Kylie Lee Baker. An intense and unsettling time travel story dressed as a ghost story that had me hooked. Super gory, great characters. Brilliant.

I was forced to read "The Purloined Letter" from Edgar Allan Poe, after reading Edogawa Ranpo's tale "Pomegranate" where Poe's tale is mentioned.

What a cool tale. I loved it.
