🚙Driving back to #California from #Canada:

In #Washington, the first huge roadside banner we saw was Trump for President. 🤢 That was jarring after a Trump-free #JanuaryInBC.

Seattle compensated with a giant Black Lives Matter sign.

We’re now driving on a trafficky freeway through Oakland, #California and there are enormous Black Lives Matter and “Abortion Saved My Life” signs. No Trump ugliness anywhere yet.

But tomorrow we go through some red areas so I’m bracing myself.

Not a bad place to stop for lunch, huh?
