During a lengthy Dec. 27, 2020, meeting in which President Donald Trump tried to convince top Justice Department officials to declare the election β€œcorrupt,” he briefly took time to press them on investigating Hunter Biden.

Trump told then-acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen and then-acting deputy attorney general Richard Donoghue to β€œfigure out what to do with Hunter Biden,” Donoghue told investigators from the Jan. 6 committee.
