@maikel I hate #subscriptions espechally when they don't have a reason to be subscriptions.
Doubly if they are forced-in as in non-subscribers get a dysfunctional product.
Triply if this could've been a one-time - purchase instead.
I can understand a #subscription when it inevitably incurs constant costs not reasonable or possible to be paid once in advance, like hosting (storage, compute, traffic) services (that ain't #SaaS just to prevent #SelfHosting!).
- Anything else feels like #Jamba / #Jamster "scammyness" to me if it's sold #SubscriptionOnly!
