One of my favourite insights from the book (Rooms of Their Own: Where Great Writers Write by Alex Johnson with illustrations by James Oses)...learning that Margaret Atwood sometimes writes while lying down and in a semi-crouching position.

Author Alex Johnson notes: 'Writing lying down or in bed is a common part of many writers' routines. There is even some research that suggests horizontal working is more conducive to creative problem solving than remaining upright.'

Finally - some of us have something in common with one of the greatest writers on the planet!
