New interview in my #JFXInAction series. Florian Enner impressed me at @devoxx conference with his 3D visualizations and scientific charts with millions of points, showing real-time data received from robots and sensors. And using the same code, he does this on both desktop and mobile! Awe-inspiring work, making maximum use of the powers of #Java to combine network communication with a #JavaFX user interface.

In part 11 of my #JFXInAction interviews, we look at game development. #FXGL is a library created by Almas Baim that helps us create #JavaFX games. But it’s much more than games! With the integrated Goal-Oriented Action Planning (#GOAP) functionality, it can use game technology and AI to solve any goal, based on actions and preconditions. In this video, Almas live codes such a solution with a minimal amount of code!

In the previous "JFX In Action" interviews, we saw combinations of JavaFX with Scala and Kotlin. In this episode, we look at the combination of JavaFX and Quarkus. Thanks to #QuarkusFX, created by Clément de Tastes, we can use the many advantages of the @quarkusio system to create a desktop application.
