How do you know if she is a keeper?
Me: "Hey, do you want to race a small sailboat from Miami to Nassau?"
Her: "Sure!"
Me: "Forecast is for 25-30 kts from the northeast across the Gulf Stream and you're foredeck."
Her: <pulls goggles over sunglasses, straps on PFD and heads into the V berth to sort out the spinnakers>
First time I've missed the winter racing season in about 10 years now that we've moved north. Having big nostalgia pains looking through old pictures.
Race 3 ended up abandoned, but Race 4 today was gorgeous.
Race day number 1, so much sail, so little wind.
Today’s primary competition, “Encore” a good old Lindberg 28.
