After a sleepover at Dad’s last night, Amber nearly exploded this morning as she was so pleased to see me!
She soon calmed down and normal service was resumed.
Fast forward to the other end of the day, and she is on sentry duty making sure my arm doesn’t escape.
After Saturday night Dog-free, last night’s dog cuddles felt wonderful!
Nursie was off today, so Amber was surprised to have both of us on walkies; she is better behaved, and zoomies did not entail personal injury today.
The afternoon has been spent on her bed in the man-cave as I directed expletives at Windows 11.
Post tea, which contained a little mushroom and pancetta omelette she has snuggled up for the night and cycles between snoring and eyeing my glass of Bordeaux.
Sometimes a treat is so good it's worth giving it my full attention. I think this Scoops Dog Ice Cream might just be my favourite new thing for a hot summer's day 🐶🍦☀️
