Attended this amazing session at #CSS2023, "Creative Microhistories, Difficult Herotage and Dark Public History: Curating a Graphic Novel, VR and Video Game in Ireland's Last Mass #Witchcraft Trial" with Andrew Sneddon, Victoria McCollum, Brian Coyle and Sabrina Minter all the way from Ulster University, Ireland. "The Witches of #Islandmagee."

#StandingStoneSunday takes me to another local site. This is The Ballylumford Dolem, found in #Ballylumford at the tip of #Islandmagee in Co. Antrim.

When I first learnt about this site it was called The Druids’ Altar. The name always felt out of place for a dolmen on a small peninsula off the East coast of Northern Ireland.

Whatever it’s called, imagine having that in your front garden.

#dailymegalith This is Ballylumford Dolmen, #Islandmagee #NorthernIreland (2018). My mum took this photo, she and dad spent two unnaturally hot weeks in NI this summer.
