Yesterday we visited the #IsenheimAltar in #Colmar which made a huge impression on all of us. Its expression of the suffering of #ergotism through the story of St. Antony and the demons and the social history of “St Antony’s fire” (really intereting article here) itself somehow felt relevant today, being as we are on cusp of new environmental diseases emerging
