Today's #FreeSoftwareAdvent is another one which might appeal for #freelance work: InvoicePlane which is - you've guessed it - an invoicing tool. I have used InvoicePlane for decoded.legal's invoicing for coming up ten years now, and it has been great. I think that it is designed to be exposed to customers (i.e. customers interact with it), but I do not do this. (I've also heard good things about InvoiceNinja, but I have not used it myself.) https://www.invoiceplane.com/ #FOSS #SelfHosting
@sailreal I'm on the hunt for a new CRM/invoicing solution, too. Moved from #InvoicePlane, which was abandoned, to #Crater, which now is abandoned, too. I've also taken a look on #akaunting and #invoiceninja which are both #opensource but apparently not free software. There's also #Odoo, #tryton, #erpnext and #dolibarr which are full blown (but customizable) ERP solutions. At the moment I'm playing around with dolibarr. It looks promising.
Oh my ... What a hashtag bubble.
While discussion with @dnegreira about #invoices and how I used in the past CRMstuite and now LibreOffice templates, I discovered the #InvoicePlane while listening to their podcast. First impressions: looks pretty cool!
