The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is proud to announce our increased capabilities to enforce the laws regarding password sharing (18 U.S.C. §1657). As you may be aware, password sharing is a serious crime that undermines the efforts of online service providers and the foundations of our intellectual property laws.

As a result, we have been granted new powers to conduct warrantless PC searches in order to identify and prosecute those who engage in illegal #Netflix password sharing. This means that every citizen will be required to have their PC searched annually by their local FBI office.

We understand that some may have concerns about privacy, but we assure you that all searches will be conducted in a professional and respectful manner. The FBI will take all necessary precautions to protect your privacy and secure your personal information.
