In Episode 9 Season 10 Columbo does not wear his trenchcoat, because he has to go UNDERCOVER. He also never says "One more thing" and even has a partner.
But thats not the reason you should not watch this episode.

Columbo is not just himself. It feels like he was replaced with an evil twin, who is a run of the mill standard LA tough cop, who screams at witnesses and suspects alike.
This episode is an abomination!
