#SilkyChick was helping me read about "A Good Life for all Within Planetary Boundaries" a few days ago. I forgot that I had take pictures of a baby hen working GNU/Linux before the previous post of BiwaChan on the keyboard. These pictures had me searching for
#KoheiSaito pages in English, since it was a Guardian article that informed me of his book, and it was his book that had me looking for Dan O'Neill, Ecological Economics, Doughnut Economics and the
#GoodLife site on the screen with BiwaChan.

The position of Vietnam, although still far away, seems to be closer to where we should be than any other country. Chomsky writes about how USA invasion of Vietnam (The "Vietnam War") ended the possibility of the place attempting and alternative route of development. It's hard to develop a good life for all within ecological boundaries after your one relatively small place has been bombed more than every place that was bombed in WWII, and with all those brightly colored cluster bomb bomblets destroying people's limbs, and with Agent Orange chemical weapons continuing to damage people and nature... But even with all that, Vietnam is still a bit closer than other countries to where we should be going. BiwaChan probably prefers that we work towards a Good Life for all within Planetary Boundaries too. I bet she's happy not to be in an Animal Factory, and wishes her fellow chickens had the opportunity to be themselves and grow into the most them-like thems as possible...
