On #ThisDayInHistory in 1857, the #BritishEmpire showed more of that characteristic terrorist brutality by sentencing 40 captured fighters in the #IndianMutiny to be blown from cannons. This involved tying men to the front of cannons and firing them, blowing body parts all over.
