Scalawag Magazine, a black queer led abolitionist media publication, lost funding so please donate if you can!

They do really important work (like [Abolition Week](https://scalawagmagazine.org/abolition-week-2025-borders/), [Pop Justice](https://scalawagmagazine.org/pop-justice/) which focuses on copaganda in pop culture, and [#STOPCOPCITY](https://scalawagmagazine.org/stopcopcity/))

and have two amazing writers at the head: sherronda j. brown is editor in chief and their book refusing compulsory sexuality: an asexual lens on our sex-obsessed culture is really important (im still reading but its only because its a lil too loud for me)! da'shaun harrison is the executive director and their book, "belly of the beast: politics of anti-fatness as anti-blackness" is also very important (and once again, still reading cause damn how did both of these writers see me)!*
