"Perth clocks the most winter rainy days in 28 years"

Which is a bit funny given that Makuru (winter) didn't show up until June and Djeran (Autumn) just didn't show up at all this year due to that massive high-pressure system that sat over the NW for so many weeks. Djilba (Late Winter/Spring) seemed really quick to warm up as well, which really doesn't make me dread how the hot half of the year* is going to work out any less either.

(*) Being Kambarang (Late Spring/Early Summer), Birak (First Summer) and Bunuru (High Summer) See http://www.bom.gov.au/iwk/calendars/nyoongar.shtml for more Indigenous Weather information.
