I'm experimenting with some new-to-me colours, mixed in with old friends. It's interesting to see how the pigment blending on the paper seems to create different, almost pearly tones of grey in these cases, not quite as I might get them if I mixed directly.

Last of #WorldWatercolourMonth for this year, a technique @hazelsoan taught me, and an opportunity to experiment with some new-to-me colours: #IndanthreneBlue, #WinsorRed, #TransparentYellow, all from @winsorandnewton.

It's a portrait of Uhura, our four-foot Camelopardis Lincolniensis, so called because she was found in Lincoln.
