For #TuneTuesday #SongsFromHome a little bit of insight: despite being known for great singers like Franco Battiato (the GOAT of italian music IMHO), Sicily is the home of great metal bands like Schizo (Messina), Nazgul (Palermo) and of course Inchiuvatu (Sciacca). I think that Addisiu (desire in english) is the greatest italian Black Metal album of all time, and Agghiastru studied art in my hometown (Agrigento). What I love about this album is the tons of folk influences (which is the reason why Windir is my favourite Black Metal band ever), apart from using sicilian language (not a dialect!)
