I was discussing how to pronounce the name with some Americans while they were preparing on stage. They overheard us and settled the question once and for all: It's NOT pronounced as an English word, but German (or Norwegian for that matter).

One of my favourite dark ambient albums of all time, Inade - The Incarnation Of The Solar Architects. The opening track, "The Engine of the Mind" sounds like a giant machine clanking and creaking somewhere in deep space (yes, I know there's no sound in space) and it's soooo fucking cool. And it only gets better. This is a masterpiece.
